How do you lower the acid in a pool?

There are three main ways to lower the acid in a pool:

1. Use a pH increaser. This is the most common way to raise the pH of your pool water. pH increasers are available at most pool supply stores. They are usually in the form of a powder or granules. To use a pH increaser, simply dissolve the desired amount in a bucket of water and then pour it into your pool.

2. Aeration. This involves running the pump and filter system for an extended period to allow the water to absorb carbon dioxide from the air. This will cause the pH to rise gradually over time.

3. Add baking soda. Baking soda is a natural alkaline substance that can be used to raise the pH of your pool water. To use baking soda, simply dissolve 1 pound of baking soda in 10 gallons of water and then pour it into your pool.

Remember to test your pool water regularly and adjust the pH levels as needed.
