What to do if overheat in sauna hot head?

If you start to overheat in a sauna, hot head, follow these steps:

1. Stay Calm: Avoid panic and try to stay calm.

2. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to restore hydration.

3. Cool Down: Move to a cooler area to reduce your body temperature. Exiting the sauna is recommended.

4. Loosen Clothing: If possible, loosen your clothing to promote air circulation and cooling.

6. Rest in the Shade: Find a comfortable place in the shade and relax to allow your body to cool down.

7. Cold Compress: Applying cold compresses to your forehead, neck, and wrists can help reduce body heat.

8. Elevate Legs: Raise your legs slightly to improve circulation and reduce heat build-up.

9. Electrolytes: Replenish electrolytes lost through sweating by consuming a sports drink or electrolyte-rich food.

10. Monitor Temperature: Keep an eye on your body temperature; don't go back to the sauna until you have fully recovered.

11. Rest Until Well: Don't try to rush back into any activity until you feel fully refreshed and recovered from the heat.

If you experience severe symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, or shortness of breath, it's important to seek immediate medical attention.

Precautions:

- Listen to your body and avoid staying in a sauna longer than your body can tolerate.

- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and heavy meals before entering a sauna, as they can worsen the effects of overheating.
