How do you waterproof Dacron fabric?

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* A piece of Dacron fabric

* A can of waterproofing spray

* A drop cloth

* A pair of gloves

* Safety glasses

2. Prepare your workspace. Lay down the drop cloth in a well-ventilated area. Put on your gloves and safety glasses.

3. Spray the waterproofing spray onto the fabric. Hold the can about 8-10 inches away from the fabric and spray in a sweeping motion. Be sure to cover the entire surface of the fabric.

4. Let the fabric dry. Allow the fabric to dry completely before moving it or using it. This may take several hours.

5. Test the waterproofing. Once the fabric is dry, test the waterproofing by pouring a small amount of water onto the surface. The water should bead up and roll off the fabric. If it does not, you may need to apply another coat of waterproofing spray.
