How do you remove a tp valve on hot water tank?

1. Turn off the power to the hot water tank. This can be done by flipping the breaker switch to the "Off" position, or by unplugging the power cord from the outlet.

2. Turn off the water supply to the hot water tank. This can be done by closing the main water valve.

3. Drain the hot water tank. Open the drain valve at the bottom of the tank and allow all of the water to drain out.

4. Locate the tp valve. The tp valve is located near the top of the hot water tank. It is a small, round valve with a red handle.

5. Unscrew the tp valve from the tank. Use a wrench to loosen the nut that holds the tp valve in place. Be careful not to drop the tp valve into the tank.

6. Inspect the tp valve. The tp valve should be clean and free of debris. If the tp valve is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

7. Reinstall the tp valve. Screw the tp valve back into the tank and tighten the nut until it is snug.
