Do you run the pump after putting flocculent in?

Flocculent works by causing small particles in the water to clump together into larger particles that are easier to filter out. In order for flocculent to work properly, it needs time to settle to the bottom of the pool. If the pump is running, it will disturb the flocculent and prevent it from settling.

Therefore, you should turn off the pump before adding flocculent and then leave it off for at least 6 hours. This will give the flocculent time to work properly and make your pool water clear.

2. Add the flocculent to the pool water according to the package directions.

3. Leave the pump off for at least 6 hours.
