When you replace the liner on your above ground pool can cover up holes for return and skimmer put somewhere else wall?

It is not recommended to cover up the holes for the return and skimmer when replacing the liner on your above ground pool. There are a couple of reasons for this:

1. Safety: The return and skimmer holes are essential for the proper circulation and filtration of water in your pool. Covering them up could lead to safety hazards, such as the pool water becoming stagnant and breeding bacteria or the pool pump overheating.

2. Functionality: If you cover up the return and skimmer holes, you will not be able to use your pool as intended. Without the return, the water will not be able to circulate and the pool will not be properly filtered. Without the skimmer, debris will not be able to be removed from the water, leading to a dirty and unsanitary pool.

If you are concerned about the holes being visible or unsightly, you can consider installing decorative covers or trim around them. These covers can be found at most pool supply stores and can help to blend the holes into the overall look of your pool.
