How do you repair reelsmart hose reel?

To repair a Reelsmart hose reel, follow these steps:

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* A Phillips head screwdriver

* A flat head screwdriver

* A pair of pliers

* A hacksaw

* A new hose reel spring (if needed)

* A new hose reel hub (if needed)

2. Disconnect the hose from the reel. There is usually a quick-connect fitting on the reel that you can disconnect by hand. If the fitting is stuck, you can use a flat head screwdriver to pry it apart.

3. Remove the cover of the reel. There are usually four Phillips head screws that hold the cover in place. Remove the screws and then lift off the cover.

4. Inspect the reel for damage. Look for any cracks or breaks in the plastic housing or the metal frame. If you see any damage, you will need to replace the affected part.

5. Replace the hose reel spring. If the spring is broken or damaged, you will need to replace it. To do this, remove the old spring by unhooking it from the reel housing. Then, hook the new spring onto the reel housing and secure it in place.

6. Replace the hose reel hub. If the hub is broken or damaged, you will need to replace it. To do this, remove the old hub by unscrewing the set screw that holds it in place. Then, screw the new hub onto the reel shaft and tighten the set screw.

7. Reattach the cover of the reel. Replace the cover of the reel and secure it in place with the four Phillips head screws.

8. Reconnect the hose to the reel. Insert the end of the hose into the quick-connect fitting on the reel and press down until it clicks into place.

9. Test the reel. Turn on the water and pull out a few feet of hose. The reel should retract the hose smoothly and evenly. If the reel does not work properly, repeat steps 4-8 until the problem is resolved.
