Chablais Ski Resorts, Adventure, Culture And Leisure

The ski resorts of the Chablais � Portes du Soleil region can be classified into mountain resorts, valley resorts, and lake resorts. The mountain resorts include the Les Crosets, the Champry, and the Torgon-Vionnaz. Some of the valley resorts are the Vrossaz, the Collombey-Muraz, and the Miex. Culture

For example, there is the ski resort town of Saint-Maurice-en-Valais, which was established during the early Roman period and has a medieval abbey that pilgrims have been visiting for more than 1,500 years. Another example is the ski resort in Le Bouveret where visitors of the Chablais � Portes du Soleil region can enjoy the theater and a cruise. And, of course, there is the Chtel, a genuine Savoyard village that boasts of the Pub L'Avalanche.

Leisure

For example, there are thermal baths in the Val-d'Illiez and the Lavey-les-Bains, where skiers can cap their adventurous day with a luxurious and therapeutic soak. During winter, tourists can also watch a ski torch light descent that is held every Wednesday.

They can drive directly from Germany, France, or Italy. They can ride the train on a train network managed by the Swiss Federal Railway.
