Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir in Baramula district is one of the famous resorts in Asia. Adventure sports like paragliding, paragliding, trekking, mountaineering, mountain biking and bird watching can be enjoyed in Gulmarg. Manali bounded by snow-capped peaks and lush green valleys is tucked in Himachal Pradesh. The place is known for heli-skiing. It offers possibilities of winter and summer skiing. Ski resorts near Manali are Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, Rohtang Pass and Pass Chanderkhani. There is some good skiing in Sonlang which is about 10 km from Manali.
