1. Put the bike on the ground or on a stand, so both wheels get off the ground.
2. Shift the front derailleur to the smallest chainring and also, the rear derailleur to the smallest sprocket.
3. Check that the distance from the inner face of the front derailleur to the chain is 1-3 mm. If the distance is too large or too small, use the Phillips-head screwdriver to turn the screw on the front derailleur until the distance is correct.
4. Check that the guide pulley of the rear derailleur is aligned with the smallest sprocket. If the guide pulley is not aligned, use the 5mm Allen key to turn the screw on the rear derailleur until the guide pulley aligns with the sprocket.
5. Shift the front derailleur to the largest chainring and the rear derailleur to the largest sprocket.
6. Check that the distance from the outer face of the front derailleur to the chain is 4-6 mm. If the distance is too large or too small, use the Phillips-head screwdriver to turn the screw on the front derailleur until the distance is correct.
7. Check that the guide pulley of the rear derailleur is aligned with the largest sprocket. If the guide pulley is not aligned, use the 5mm Allen key to turn the screw on the rear derailleur until the guide pulley aligns with the sprocket.
8. Shift the front and rear derailleur up and down a few times to make sure the shifting is smooth. If the shifting is not smooth, repeat the above steps until the shifting is correct.
