WWE Trainers
Question
I was talking to my bro about the trainers and we wondered how they actually become trainers are they actual doctors that are hired by wwe or?
Answer
Well, there are two types of trainers, one called something different. One trainer is one that trains the wrestlers, helps them out on the road, etc. The other is sports medicine, which is commonly called a trainer. These are the people you see come to ringside when a wrestler is injured, sometimes storyline wise. Many times if it's a storyline you'll see wrestlers come along with them, not always current ones, but agents in the back. When it's real, you may see them, but many times it's real docs out there.
The main one who touches the wrestler will be wearing gloves. All one has to do is get a degree in sports medicine to be eligible to work for the WWE as one of their trainers. They like hiring doctors, but when they do that, they are put in their Wellness Program to do testing on the wrestlers. A sports medicine degree is the way to go if you want to be a trainer. I'd recommend getting as high a degree as possible in it though, and minor in another medical field
