Question
Hey im 14 ive always wanted to do pro wrestling since the age of 7 and im turning 15 this year and i really am dedicated to this and i will go to any wrestling school that is available and professional. I want to be a highflyer so should I either go to either WWE or TNA? Which one is better for Highflyers?
Answer
How are you doing Darius? Instead of looking at WWE or TNA, the first thing you should worry about is learning how to ply the trade of being a professional wrestler. I cannot think of one wrestling training school that will accept you at 15. Only a couple that will even consider taking you at 16 (with parental permission of course).
If you learn your trade well and are a talented high-flyer that gets noticed by either WWE, TNA, Japan, Mexico, Ring of Honor, or any other large promotion that comes along the way, you have to evaluate what type of highflyer you are. There's a lot more to hoping that one of the big leagues picks you up. They want a fit appearance (looking like you've spent some time training in a gym) and what you can do and cannot do. As a worker with many years in the business, dream big but keep in mind for every 100 or so independent wrestlers, one makes it to the big dance. If you really want to become a professional wrestler, don't pin all your hopes on WWE or TNA. Pin your hopes on being the best wrestler you can and get a positive crowd reaction. By positive, if you are a heel, you get heel heat and if you are a face, you get face pops.
I hope that helps you out. Good luck with whatever you choose to follow.
