what can i do?
then how did goldberg join in wwe ?

Answer
Hello Pradeepxxx

Goldberg joined WWE when they approached him after hearing of his work in Japan, following WCW's closure, though he would have been partly hired because of what he had done in WCW and WWE Creative and/or Vince McMahon having ideas for him. At that time, WWE did not buy his contract as they then did with others when WCW went bankrupt, since they did not intend to use him as part of WCW Invasion angle. Goldberg was aided by his WCW experience because it meant WWE already knew what he could do and the response he could generate. His work in Japan just helped to secure their interest in him.

Joining the WWE is not easy. As just about every wrestler wants to get there, spaces are very limited. You need to really stand out to have a chance. You have a few different options. You may decide to move to the US. If WWE are to hire you, you will have to move anyway- otherwise you wouldn't be able to meet the travel requirements, getting to the shows in time. Making the move to the US also means you have a greater chance of getting noticed through WWE Talent Scouts, who keep an eye on the independent promotions as well as pro wrestling schools. Alternatively, you may choose to wrestle in India or anywhere else for that matter. You may move at a later time once you have gained more experienced and made more contacts.

In any case, there is no guarantee path to reaching the WWE, but there are things you can do to improve your chances. First, build up contacts. Get to know people in the business and make friends. They may be able to put in a good word for you, or let you know of opportunities they have heard of. The more people that are impressed with you, the more likely the possibility of a big opportunity coming to way. To impress, of course, you need to stand out with your wrestling skills.

Attitude is important in pro wrestling. Always do your best to improve yourself, be respectful to all, be able to work as part of a team and work hard. Remember, it is the people in WWE who decide if you are good enough to get a WWE Developmental Contract- not you. So, do not stop working hard if you ever think you are already good enough and do not need to learn further. Don't overwork yourself and take care of your mind and body, but don't work too little either.

Working in different countries helps to show you can engage a global audience, something WWE looks for. WWE also looks for wrestlers who can entertain. You need to be able to draw a strong response from the audience- boos or cheers. The more talented you are in promos, the better. WWE look for wrestlers who can tell stories in the ring. This means being able to create emotion in your matches, moves with meaning to them and matches which develop your character. It helps if you bring something new to the table- perhaps a distinctive look, or a few different moves or a unique wrestling style. Again, WWE look for wrestlers that stand out. It helps if you are very fit and have a engaging real-life personality. Knowing fluent English- the language you will have to use to communicate in the WWE- will help in general if wrestling in the US, UK, Canada or Australia.

You need to work you way up in promotions. As you work your way up and gain experience, you will meet more people, get a fanbase, get opportunities to go into bigger promotions and more people will have heard of you. If you work in bigger promotions, WWE is more likely to notice you. Obviously, it is harder to keep tracks of what goes on in small promotions and so promising wrestlers can be lost in the crowd. If you impress enough people, WWE may check you out, especially if you are already in the US. If you are in the US, or if WWE does tours of whatever nation you are in at the time, there is a chance that WWE Talent Scouts may be watching you. If so, impress them and you will get a chance to get into the WWE.

You may also choose to try out for FCW, when they hold FCW Evaluation Clinics. Details of these are on FCW's website and Steve Keirn's MySpace as the time approaches. FCW is currently WWE's only Developmental Territory. Getting in puts you in a great position to get noticed- but getting in isn't easy. Also, wherever they come from, WWE sends those they sign to WWE Developmental Contracts here. WWE reserves spots for these people, who get trained alongside the other FCW trainees- but they also get additional training from the WWE. After being signed to a WWE Developmental Contract, you continue to train and improve until WWE deems you ready to move up to one of its brands and WWE Creative has something for you. You need to continue to impress in WWE Developmental- or you may be released from your WWE Developmental Contract.

There is no sure way to get into the WWE. You just have to never give up and train and perform, no matter the show and the audience, as if you are in the WWE performing in front of a gloabl audience. You have to be impressive and if you can wrestle and entertain like a WWE Superstar, it is easier for people to see you as a future WWE Superstar and thus, for the WWE to give you a chance to impress them further.

Good luck in your future endeavours.
