QUESTION: Is John Cena going to get fired?

ANSWER: Hi Tate.  Thanks for the question.  Sorry for the late answer.  I didn't get the original e-mail from All Experts, and they sent a reminder notice today.

Anyway, it's possible from a storyline perspective that Cena will be fired.  Obviously, there is no way that WWE would fire him for real, unless he did something behind the scenes that would cause to him to be.

I'm definitely intrigued to see how it plays at Survivor Series.  I just can't see Cena being 'fired', as I can't see WWE taking him off of TV for any extended time, especially with the WrestleMania push coming up soon.

At the same time, I can't see Wade Barrett winning the title at this point either, unless Cena turns heel and sides with him.

Hi Tate.

If the match goes down strictly according to the stipulations of the match, I think Cena will beat up Barrett.  He doesn't have anything to lose if he ends up getting 'fired'.  At the same time, if Barrett wins the title, Cena is released from Nexus. It wouldn't make sense for him not to go after Barrett, at least from a storyline perspective.

However, the wildcard in this situation is that Cena could turn heel and cost Orton the title, with it coming out that Cena was part of Nexus all along.  There have been rumors for a while now that Cena would turn heel at some point.
