writing for wrestling

Hello I live in ga and ny each half of the year, do you know of any indy promotions in eaither state. I'm trying to get into the creative side of wrestling, and I'm thinking if I call them up maybe one will give me a chance to write for their promotions, thank you.

There are several indy promotions in Georgia and New York.  The bad thing is that most of the independent wrestling scene doesn't pay enough to have a staff writer.  I don't know of any indy league that will take any creative ideas from somebody that is not trained and working for their company.  However, I would suggest that if you haven't thought about it, to take classes that cover writing for television shows and that like.  WWE hires a creative team that mostly consist of television writers, not wrestlers.  

TNA will accept ideas sent in by non-staff writers.  If they use your idea, you get $50 and that's it.  If you are truly interested in creative and want to have your own real voice, I would recommend investing in a wrestling company and be your own storywriter.  Hire somebody else to promote and bring in talent...you make the story that is seen.
