Sting to WWE?

Is it true that Sting will be signing with WWE?  If he does, do you think this is just for WrestleMania, or long term?  

Also, what happened in regards to Sting, Booker T, and Kevin Nash returning to TNA?  I thought they were going to be relieved as 'Them'

Hi Matt.  Thanks for the question.

As far as I know, nothing is official yet, but the rumors are that Sting will be signing a one year contract with WWE.  The other big rumor going around is that Sting will be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

If Sting was ever going to sign with WWE, now is as good as time as any.  I think he's done pretty much all he can do with TNA at this point.  One of the reasons he was hesitant in the past to sign with WWE is because he didn't approve of their content, as he's a born again christian.  WWE is pretty much PG these days, so that shouldn't be much of factor anymore.  Also, with WrestleMania being held in Atlanta this year, there has been talk of Sting being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.  In case you didn't know, Atlanta was where WCW was based out of.

As far as Sting, Booker, and Nash returning to TNA, I think TNA just dropped the ball on that one.  All indications, at least from TNA's point of view, is that Sting and Nash would be returning, but that obviously changed at some point, and WWE got involved.  I know Nash was negotiating with TNA, but I don't know about Sting or Booker.  

I guess at the Impact tapings this week, there had to be a lot of storyline rewrites due to this situation.
