Schools
Question
I know schools in England aren't in with wwe but singly know of any good schools in Manchester or in crewe it is 40mins away from Manchester south near Stoke and I'm wondering European tour they scouted wade barter but how does it happen? How do they scout you exactly and contacts for schools please I forgot then
Answer
Well the list I gave you should have some from there.
Now, how do they hear about guys to give try outs too? Well first it's word of mouth. Indy guys get a lot more publicity than they used to thanks to the Internet. If the WWE sees someone getting rave reviews from people, their gonna check them out, it's only natural. Second, they contact the WWE and ask when they are coming to the UK again, and if they can try out there. A lot of the time, these tours result in a lot of turn out from UK wrestlers, but few get in. Look at the guys you see from there on TV, they are pros and know what their doing. Sheamus, McIntyre, and Barrett all had tons of training and Indy experience before WWE, so while they are still young, they have experience which is what matters the most to them.
If they know you can perform well on TV, they will sign you to a developmental deal to see what you can do. But, Jim Ross whose heading up that department now as far as getting talents in, has said a few things are needed. Obviously good wrestling ability, performance ability, and you have to have a good look. Meaning they could care less if your 7 foot 400 pounds, they just want you to be in shape and able to do all the tests they have.
Now, if you wanted to check out TNA in the future, the way they get in talent that doesn't have a ton of Indy experience is done by their TNA "Gutcheck workshop" it's actually going on soon. But it's for people with prior training and some experience on the Indy circuit, but it doesn't have to be years, possibly just a few months to 1 year of Indy work
All star wrestling
where are they now
