My name is harris and I live in Ireland. For a long time wrestling has been my dream and one day like many other people i would i like to be a pro wrestler in the wwe.Since your an expert i wanted to ask you a few questions. I am 15 years old and I have started wrestling in mainstage wrestling located in crumlin.I would like to get the wwe to accept and notice me as soon as possible. What do you think i should do inorder to do this? What time up of things do fcw want for me and how can I get accepted by it. Would they accept me even though I am an irish citizen? thank you hope to hear from you soon""

ANSWER: How are you doing Harris?

Well, so far you are on the right track to getting noticed...You are already getting experience in wrestling.  Unfortunately, the WWE will not hire anybody under 18 for wrestling, but usually prefer their wrestling performers to be 21.  This is due to drinking laws in the US.  However, if they do pick you up at 18, you would be sent to FCW.

If WWE is interested in you, they will send you to FCW, so don't worry about trying to get into FCW.  Once you hit 18, put together a tape or DVD of 3 matches against 3 different opponents, several 8x10 pictures of yourself in your gimmick, a resume of where you have wrestled/famous names you have worked/titles you have held, and a biography of who you are and your goals.  Send this package to the WWE c/o new talent acquisitions.  The address is on their website.

Once you send it, give it several weeks to get there and be reviewed.  After about 6 weeks, start calling their office every week to talk to new talent department.  Once you finally get through and talk to the talent director (currently this is John Laurinaitis) listen to what they have to say.  If they tell you to fix something or work on something, take their advice and fix or adjust what needs to be adjusted.  From there, put together a new DVD or tape with the fixes and resend.

WWE will use Irish citizens, they do now.  Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and a talent at FCW are all from Ireland, or are still Irish Citizens.  WWE also has Wayne Barrett from the UK, so WWE will use you if they find something in you they want.

Good luck, I hope the advice helps.

QUESTION: Hey micheal

Ok so before before I am 18 what other places or clubs do you think I should train to boost up my chances of the wwe liking me as I would like to get in wwe as fast as possible.
         thank you

Answer
Good to talk to you again Harris.

Really, you want to wrestle anywhere and everywhere you can, against many many different opponents.  This gives you a more broad understanding of wrestling and the many different styles there are.  If you are able to, get into England.  NWA Hammerlock is a good place to get experience.  Really, until you are 18, just wrestling every chance you get is your best bet.  Doing that, there is a bigger chance of getting a dark match if WWE comes to Ireland.  If you get a dark match with WWE, you will get several hours of workout time before the show.  Use that to your advantage.

In the meantime, make as many good contacts as you can and never burn a bridge.  Good luck to you Sir.
