Expected Matches skipped
Question
Hi Dave
Hope you are doing well.
Though, Undertaker vs. Triple H is as good as it can get, however, WWE did kinda skipped over there corresponding feuds with Kane and Sheamus. How come they return, and not have a finisher of feuds?
Also, why are participants of MITB match not yet announced? Is that b'caz it has been evolved in a pay-per-view?
Answer
Hi Varun. Thanks for the question.
1. Yes, those feuds were overlooked, although Triple H did a get a chance to beat up Sheamus on Raw.
Triple H and the Undertaker came back right about the time that WWE really starts promoting WrestleMania. Because of this, there probably wasn't enough time to have a legitimate blow off to the feuds.
That, and who knows whether either of them are actually going to wrestle on TV before WrestleMania? WrestleMania might be their first televised match. I know Triple H has been working some dark matches, but I'm not sure about the Undertaker.
2. I haven't heard anything official about MITB, but I'm assuming it's because it's a PPV now. WrestleMania is only a couple of weeks away, so I find it hard to believe that the MITB match has been promoted, if they are going to have it. I would have to think that if they were having the match, guys like John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler would have been part of it, but they are part of the mixed tag match now.
I guess if MITB is going to be a PPV, it doesn't really make sense to have it at WrestleMania.
Thanks again for the question. Let me know if you have anything else.
Have a great day!
Dave
