But listen im planning going to Ohio Wrestling School, Ring of Honor School others schools when I finish my University im already making some money funds... but I really want to know how i survive outside the ring? How i start in a new country? for example not having shalter, money, house etc... I know this might be stupid.Help me I dont want to work in Mcdonalds xD Give me all your advices do you understand what im saying? Tell me what a pro wrestler need to do
ANSWER: Well, while training a lot of wrestlers have side jobs. I know at one point, I heard of a wrestler training and working fast food. So, it's not that uncommon to see. I've worked in fast food myself, no picnic but it's work.
Now, in America there are far more rules job wise and what not. You must have a Visa and the best thing to know is how to speak English very well, and be able to write it, all without translational help. This is the most important thing I can tell you because there are so many who come to America and can barely speak English, so it's almost impossible to hire them. Almost every job available, outside of food service, requires you to speak often.
I recommend buying this book by Mary Berger:
http://www.shopzilla.com/speak-standard-too-by-mary-i-berger/1872917465/shop
It will help teach you how to properly speak English. It should come with CDs, but if not buy them, she'll talk and you can just follow along and try to mimic here. She really makes it easy.
I'd also recommend this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Confident-Public-Speaking-CD-ROM-InfoTrac/dp/0534551920
It's a Public Speaking book that will help you understand how to properly talk in front of people. When you get into wrestling, especially WWE, you'll need to know how to speak Publicly. this will teach you that.
Both books will completely been written in English, so know how to understand it.
Of course, things like Muzzy also helps in learning a new language.
When you get here, I'd recommend finding an apartment that's close to where you'll be training. If it's close to where you'll be working then even better. Try and keep them close to refrain from having to even worry about a car for transportation. Here, if you have a car you must have insurance, plus gas can be expensive. It's better to save the money than worry about those two things, right?
Btw, if I were you I'd have a set plan in place before I came over to the States. I'd know where I was going to train, how I was going to get there, and talk with them before going. You don't need to just show up and say, hey guys I wanna sign up to wrestle. You also need to make sure you do research on them, and know everything about what they are present day, and not focus on the past.
ROH and OVW for example are not longer the big time schools they used to be. The best school in the states in WWA4, plus it's in a profitable area in which apartments won't cost as much and you'll be able to find a job much easier.
Remember, you also have to pay to train, so, you'll definitely need to have money saved up and be able to have it work well into American currency, the Dollar.
Hope I answered everything, if not let me know and I'll get right on that. If you have anymore questions, let me know and I'll answer those as quick as I can!

QUESTION: Thx for the reply you helped a lot I saw the school you said its looks like a nice school im foward to trying but
1question: What job you recommend when I get to United States?
2question: How is the life working in Indys?
I think its all i hope you still here on allexperts before I go to United States cuz I think will need a lot of your help Joe...
ANSWER: Been here for a while, plus I'm a volunteer, don't mind answering any questions you have at any point. Now, I may be delayed in answering them but that's probably for a few reasons.
1.) I'm researching to give you the best answer I can
2.) I'm having technical issues
3.) I'm on vacation
Other than that, I'll be with you on any question in a fast fashion.
I'd recommend any job that will not make you work during training hours. Of course you can talk to the manager and tell them a schedule you can work and they will know they can work you any other time but that. Many places have shifts, which is how you'll work most likely. Never take lower than minimum wage as a guaranteed profit. So, don't be selling anything door to door or anything. It'll be much harder to make a living. Min Wage is different all the time, but currently it's $7.50.
Life on the Indys is good and bad, good because you're doing what you love but bad because you never know how much success you're going to have. You could go one month making great money, being booked all over the state. To one month where you get 2 or 3 bookings. Then of course, your booking fee can't be too when you start out because you have to work your way up to making good money.
Obviously the top promotion Indy wise will be ROH. But there are places like Dragon's Gate USA, Chikara, and Pro-Wrestling Guerrilla who will have some top Indy wrestlers and always pay well. But, you have to be really good to be able to get in with them. WWA4 has a lot of connections, so if you go there you'll probably get some help in getting jobs wrestling wise.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with

QUESTION: Hello Joe its me again dont be mad about me cuz im making many questions okay?
Well I have another question for you listen if i work Indy are earn some money?
Listen I want to be a nutricionist too when I go to Atlanta,GA where is WWA4 you think I can find a job there as Nutricionist? Not so far way from the school and hotel
And good news I already apply to WWA4 and I bought the Home School product that they have
Answer
The home school product will help out especially well from WWA4, although getting hands on training is the best way to learn.
To be a nutritionist here in America, you have to attain a degree in it. So, unless you have that you cannot just jump into a job in it of course. Gyms may be hiring them though, so if you do have the schooling to do it, then you'll be able to. WWA4 is close to many businesses in the area, so I'd be willing to bet gyms are close by
Btw, I don't mind you asking any question. That's why I'm here of course! ;)
