ROBERT ROODES PIPE BOMB SPEECH

Hello,

I am still confused about Robert Roode's speech blaming audiences all over the world. Is it story line or was some thing real? (As there are several real life disputes which were being adopted by storyliners in wrestling industry). If TNA story liners, owners whether Dixie, Bischoff, Hogan or Board of Directors are not performing well then whats the fault of audience.
What I think, some of the possible reasons might be
1) Just like copying other stuff from WWE, this was also an effort to copy "CM PUNK-Hot Dramatic-Controversial Speech" which boost the ratings
2) Roode was not happy of changing Title Winning plans and lack of trust on him backstage and sudden awarding of Belt to James Storm. This frustration came out on mic
3) TNA continue low ratings and embarrassing number of attendance in Pay-per views against WWE Pay-per views
4) Despite TNA Originals extraordinary performances, the focus is still on WWE-WCW left-ees & old crop and not pushing them

These might be the reasons....Whats your opinion & sources said about that?

Well, here is what's up with Roode. An idea was tossed around about pushing him months ago. Which is why he was the one who won the BFG Tournament. Then he goes into the show last week and loses to Angle in a hard fought battle and excellent match. Many fans called foul because it was soooo idiotic for TNA to have him go through all of that in a massive push only to get pushed right back down. Then, his partner James Storm goes out and wins the World Title in less than 2 minutes from Angle, a man who has done nothing to deserve the win.

Obviously people knew where TNA was going with the storyline, and having Roode go heel and eventually go after Storm and the TNA World Title.

It seems TNA feels they have to loop in all heels with Immortal and everyone else is a face. Quite the contrary. Roode can be a major heel and not involved with Immortal again.

TNA of course knew that Roode doing a pipe bomb type of thing was a good idea because of how big it has been before, not just with Punk in WWE but in many other promotions. This is of course not real, if it's spoken by a talent in a company involving something the company booked, you can guarantee it's a storyline. With Punk it was a bit tough to tell because of all the stuff he revealed, but obviously because it made TV, Vince McMahon allowed it.

The easiest heel heat ever is when you hate on the crowd, because then they have no choice but to boo. I mean, it would make no sense to have him blame the fans for his loss at BFG. They had no call on it, the boys in the back would be more involved than the fans. So, it's obviously a storyline when fans are the one's verbally attacked

It would have been better if they had Roode just attack Storm and be done with it, breaking up Beer Money, the greatest tag team in the world, and making Roode the real up and comer(storyline speaking). But that's just my opinion.

TNA has wanted Fortune to be at the top for some time. This is why they had Roode win and someone in that group or all have been with a title or have been in title matches off and on. So, the originals are getting time. But like you said, the main focus is always seemingly on the former WWE names.

If Roode and Storm get involved in a storyline, then this would be the first time two TNA originals and only the originals were involved in a storyline for the World Title in over 5 years.

Btw, it seems fans really cared about TNA after BFG as they just scored one of their highest ratings if not THE highest they have ever had last Thursday(American day it's on). So TNA obviously sees that the originals can draw ratings too, as the reason most tuned in was to see if Roode won the World Title, and funny enough, they stayed to see if Storm could do it. Proof if nothing else to TNA was, these guys draw.

Sources tell me that they are trying to be sure an original is involved in the top storylines going forward, it may not be all originals involved, but one or two at all times will be going forward
