How much money does a pro wrestler make in independent circuit
Question
Thx for the reply from my last question Joe.But I have a another question
1) How much money does a pro wrestler makes in another promotions like Shimmer, Lucha Libre USA etc...?
2) How much money a WWE wrestler low card win? Is he get paid for week or month?
Answer
Depends on the promotion or person usually when it comes to the Indy scene. Guys could make around $1,000, that's USDA per appearance. Some make less at about $500 per appearance. Really depends on the promotion and the person. SHIMMER and Lucha Libre probably don't pay as much as other promotions do, but they are doing okay so they can pay top guys their normal fees. Which usually aren't more and a few thousand dollars, plus travel.
In WWE, no one wins money. I know they talk about that on TV, about the winner getting more money, but it's not true. Everyone is paid their normal contract money, however if they are holding a title, sometimes they can get bonus money. Really depends when it comes to that stuff.
There are two forms of low card guys, the one's still under their developmental deal and the one's under main roster contracts. Usually low card guys are developmental guys just now moving up to the main roster. Guys like Jinder Mahal for instance.
They usually get paid like normal jobs, bi-weekly. Sometimes the PPV money comes in late, so it's usually on the following pay check and what not. Kinda weird, I know. But that's how the accountant office works I guess, lol
Thanks
