how the wwe works
Question
Hi im just wondering how the wwe really works? Is it scripted or played out or is it really real?
Answer
Hi Adam,
WWE is scripted. The storylines are all written out, attacks on people, what is said on TV, everything, is all planned.
Now, the action is pretty real. The guys/girls go to wrestling school all before they even come to WWE most of the time, and they also work on smaller promotions before WWE picks them up. Some however, just get hired by WWE and learn there. Mostly women in that area.
When WWE hires a wrestler, they go through development at a WWE sponsored place called FCW. It's in Tampa, FL.
They learn about WWE's style of things here and what it takes to work there.
Basically, everyone you see on TV has been taught how to do and take the moves being done. They work together with their opponent. So, it's half real in that aspect. The moves are of course very real, so if you tried them with a friend, it could be very dangerous. The guys/girls on TV know what they are doing. Sort of like stuntmen if you will.
