Is john cena retiring? In extreme rules, when brock and cena weree bleeding-is that real blood or staged?

Hi Veeresh.  Thanks for the question.  I am so sorry for the late reply.  I thought I had set my settings to not accept any questions for a time period, but I must not have.  

Well, obviously John Cena is not retiring.  I think the plan at one point may have been for Cena to take some time off, since he hasn't had an extended break in a long time, and this time of year is normally the slow point for WWE.  I'm guessing the plan to explain Cena's absence off of TV was to use the arm "injury" he sustained against Lesnar, or just the beating he took.  I know it's been reported that one of the plans was for Cena to win the match against Lesnar, but to be beaten up so bad he had to be taken out on a stretcher, or least not able to leave the ring on his own power.

As far as the blood, it was real.  I don't know if Cena was supposed to bleed or not, but it was real.  I don't think Lesnar was supposed to bleed, but it looked like the shot from the chain opened up the cut.
