How to be a WWE diva?
Question
Hi Joe,
My name is Jasmine and I'm 13yrs old and I live in Texas.I have been watching WWE pretty much all my life and then I realized I want to become a WWE diva.I know you get alot of questions like this, but I just have to ask.If I were to take wrestling school right now 13 to 18yrs old. That's 6yrs experience would that be enough to be in WWE.And let's just I do all of that 6yrs experience and I'm 18 were would I go from there would I go straight to Florida for FCW or I heard about WWE tryouts I how does it all work out,do I go to college for wrestling.I guess my point is what are the steps to become a WWE Diva.Oh, and do you know any wrestling schools in Dallas,Tx.
Thank,you
Answer
Hi Jasmine, most schools won't take in girls until 16. It's just much easier for them to get to shows or training around this time. Plus, they are full grown by this point and bone structure is pretty much where it'll stay for a while. That said, you may not be able to learn how to wrestle for another 3 years. It really depends on the school. Some schools offer a juniors program, with allows 10 to 15 year olds to train.
Wrestling school takes an average of 2 years to really pick up everything. Some finish up earlier depending on how they pick things up however.
Once you're trained, you'll need to wrestle with some local Indy places and what not to gain experience.
I recommend going to college and getting a good education before attempting to go to WWE. During this time, you can hone your skills in the ring and then after college, you can prepare for a WWE career.
Right now, what I'd recommend that you do is try and get involved with acting classes and try and get in with your local theater group. Take theater classes at school too, and work in school plays. This will help you learn how to act in front of live crowds, which in WWE, you'd be in front of every night. People forget, WWE is all entertainment. It is basically theater with action. So, by getting involved with acting you can easily get better in front of crowds which is essential.
WWE try outs work various ways, most of the time they will give try outs to people when they go to their state. Other times they have open calls, where people can go to Tampa where FCW is at and possibly get on with WWE.
Here is a school in Dallas:
