HS wrestling..
Question
I am going to be a Sophmore this year, and I have been interested in joining a High School wrestlign team for a couple years now. I've never done anything like it before, so I'm wondering, what kind of workout regimin should I start so I can get in shape before I actually try out?
I don't know any wrestling moves at all, so I'll have to find a team that'll train me, but I just want to have my cardiovascular system already at the level, or near the level that it needs to be. I'd also like to start putting on more muscle mass. Thank you so much!

Wrestling is one of the most comprehensive physical workouts you will ever do. The only way to get in shape for wrestling is to wrestle so I would encourage you to try out for the team. There should be a number of summer camps in your city that you could attend. Contact your high school coach, he will know. Any excercise is good cross training but running, biking and swimming are the best to build endurance nad lean muscle mass.
