Match Strategy

Question
Hi I'm 16 and I've been wrestling one year and then some.

There was this idea where if you work on one arm from the start of a match, it will eventually get sored, easing up the opponent up for a shot. And the same goes to other body parts. My question is that, what body parts should I target accordingly?
I want to be able to tell what kind of build the person has... and use the techniques that are most effective against that type. What are some match strategies?

Thank you Very much for any inputs!

Answer
I would assume that working one body part would be true but there is one backlash with this thought, you will become really tired as well. Of course all this happens in the 2nd period anyway so if you don't take a shot till then anyway, then the ref will probably call you for stalling. I don't think that this strategy is a good idea at all because by the time you work his arm or any other body part, he would of probably already taken a couple of shots. Also, if you want to work something, I would recommend the pinning moves and not the shots. Such as try to do cradles from multiple angles so the guy will eventually get really tired out from defending. Stuff like that but don't work the arm for a shot. If you have to take that long for a shot then something is wrong.

I will give you other match strategies: take a shot on the whistle, or a dart to the ankle at the whistle. This will surprise any opponent and will most likely give you the upper hand. From there you can work in the half nelson and roll him over. Another strategie is play defensive and let him take a shot first. While in the shot process, sprawl, and either spin around or learn the cement job or cement roll. Those are great moves. Of course these techniques should be used only once in a while, otherwise you'll loose the element of surprise. I hope this helps.

(PS: sorry for the long time in reply, I am in college and the semster started and I was hit with alot of work. Sorry again)
