Questionhow can i slowdown in ware out bigger stronger opponents
Answer
Final USA Competition
Hey John,
Thanks for the question. For starters, you need to avoid tying up, obviously. You must work at closing the gap between your stronger opponent with lateral, or side to side movement. You will also want to utilize what we call "misdirection" or, faking one way, and cutting back sharply to the other direction. When you hit low finally on the leg or ankle you are attacking , make sure you turn the corner hard and throw yourself behind your opponent like a torque wrench, really driving with your hips and diggin your feet as you go behind. While it will be tough to wear out a stronger opponent, you can outquick him, remembering that a bull is hard pressed to catch a rabbit, right? Unless the rabbit slows down or worse, stops moving. Train to improve your cardio so that you can always be two moves ahead of a slower, stronger opponent. Eat competitive meals (energy)that allow you to be full of pep to get the job done. Check out my links which will give you the menu items that you need for a competitive edge. Keep me posted on your progress!
