Question
hey him a sophomore and i was at a tournament and the kid came up and i beat him then the other teams coaches said that was the wrong kid and i had to wrestle right after that shouldn't that have been a automatic lose for the right kid
Answer
Hey Stephen,
It sounds like the tournament was not very organized if this was allowed to happen. Normally, whoever does not show for the match loses by disqualification / default. However, every tournament differs because of human error factors. Your coach should have argued the case to prevent you from having to wrestle the round twice. I will admit to you though this does happens, it is rare, because many tournaments are now run by software which eliminates these kind of errors from happening. Hopefully, you were conditioned and determined enough to prevail, regardless.
