Lifeguard Certification
Question
I want to know more about becomeing a lifeguard. I am in my mid 30's and am not sure if trying to become a lifeguard is the best thing for me to do. If you could also give me a starting point that would be great.

Answer
Jim,
First and foremost I would never say anyone is to old to start lifeguarding. I would recomend you make sure you are in enough shape to be physical in the water. I would say your best bet would be to start out with your local YMCA who could point you into a course for lifeguard students. Most lifeguard courses are very demanding both on time and phiscally. If you need any further assistance please feel free to ask.
