Freestyle Kicking

Hi,
I have been learning freestyle very slowly. I have problems in kicking. I would stop kicking when I take a breath. Otherwise I am fine. Do you have any suggestions?
Answer
The best way to work on you breathing/kicking is to hold the back end of a kick board and kick with your face in the water. When you need a breath, take one stroke, turn your head to breath and really focus on continuing to kick.
