shower?
Question
hello, maybe silly question, but why do the drivers go the showers after they have done their high dive?
Answer
Jacqui -
The divers you see on TV during the Olympics go to the showers after each dive to stay warm. Even though they are indoors, they need to keep their muscles warm for optimum performance. The pool temperature is not as warm as you think it might be.This is also the reason you see them use the small towels to dry off. They take the shower or go in the hot tub and then dry off because when they are dry they are warmer. A dry, warm body performs better that a wet and cold one.
