my name is sara and im 13. i have two questions for you. first, at the age of thirteen is it too late to start diving? because i would really like to try springboard diving. also do you know any diving clubs or any place for begginer divers in the new jersey area? preferably burlington county? your help is really appreaciated.thank you so much and i hope to hear from you soon!

The best diving programs in your state are found at College of New Jersey and Rutgers University. I do not know if these are close to you because I do not know Burlington County.

13 is not to late to start diving. In fact, it is a good age to start.You need to go to the following websites to find a program:


www.bluedolphindiving.com. This club is run by the coaches who work at the above universities. Contact them to see if there is coach near your county.

Go to www.usadiving.org - Click on Clubs and then click on Find A Club. Enter PA for the state and find out about teams in Philadelphia which may be closer than the above teams. There is a good coach at Drexel University.

www.aaudiving.org - Click on Diving Sport Contacts. When the US map appears, click on the district numbers 7,8,9 & 10 which are near you. Contact the people whose names appear and ask about diving near your town.
