Platform Diving Classes
Question
My friend and I would like to join platform diving. Were 11 and live in Bernardsville, New Jersey. Most of the clubs we've looked at are too far away and there are none that we have found close to us. And I should let you know that we are not familiar with the sport and this will be our first time.

In looking on Google maps to see where you live, you do not have much choice in where you can go to learn to dive with a club team. Since you are new to diving, you need to understand that platform diving (5 meters and higher up to 10 meters) is not for beginners. If you want to try diving, you will be learning on the one meter springboard and then work your way up to the 3 meter. After you have figured out springboard diving, if your coach feels you are ready, you can then move up to the platform levels. I would find the nearest pool that offers a learn to dive course and start there.
