What psi is needed to successfully pressure wash deposits off of pool tiles?
Pressure washing pool tiles requires caution. Tiles require a much lower psi setting compared to concrete (around 2000 for concrete). Pool tiles might chip, peel, dislodge grout, or scratch at too high of pressure settings. To remove the build-up off pool tiles without any risk of damage, the ideal pressure level needed is roughly between 500 to 900 psi (pounds per square inch) if using electric, and less if gas.
