Adult Dive camp

Hi,

Just a quick question.... do you know if there are adult masters dive camps running over summer 2010? (location anywhere...) Myself and a friend of mine were thinking of going to a dive camp for our holidays... but we are unsure if adult masters dive camps exist... we have previous diving experience, but we would be novice divers...

The only adult diving camp that I know of is run by the diving coach at the University of Buffalo in New York. The coach is Karla Helder, a world champion masters diver. She runs a weekend clinic called "Old Dogs New Tricks". I do not know the dates or costs. You can find her contact info by going to www.mastersdiving.org, click on e-mail addresses and you will find her e-mail there. While at this site, click on the message board and leave a message to all masters divers to see if there are other camps that you can attend.There are some posts at this page you will want to read listed under "Karla and Mikes ODNT Clinic". Lots of other information at this website about adult diving in general. You should also contact the officers of their national committee to see if they know of a clinic. Alex Lapidus travels all over the world for masters diving events and may know of one. Sign up for a free newsletter from my friend Dave Cotton.He also may know of a camp.
