10 year old boy transition from gymnastics to diving

Tom, could you please tell me where in Santa Monica or West Los Angeles I could get my son involved in springboard diving.  He took a parks and recreation class at the Santa Monica Pool and loved it.  His gymnastics background proved helpful.  Now we just need to find a club or organization that offers training.

You happen to live in a part of the country where club diving is very popular and there are many teams. I suggest looking at the age group programs found at USC (1984 Olympic pool,Head Coach Hong Ping Li) and UCLA (new pool, Head Coach Tom Stebbins).Their contact info can be found by going to www.usadiving.org. Click on Clubs and then Find A Club. Enter CA and a list of teams will come up. There are others to choose from but the ones I suggested may be the closest to you.
