Youth Diving lessons in Beverly Hills

Can you please help point me in a direction as to where I can find youth springboard diving lessons in or near Beverly Hills, Ca, for a 7 year old boy? I really appreciate it!

You live in an area of So. Cal that has several different programs you can look into. I think the closest one is the age group team at UCLA. It is for kids age 18 and under but sometimes coaches feel that 7 is a little too young for their program. You will just have to take him over to the pool and have a look and talk to the coaches. Same for the team at USC. They have age group diving but you will have to check on the minimum age requirement. You can also try going to the Rose Bowl pool in Pasadena. A little farther to go but I'll bet they take kids his age.

You can find the contact info and websites for these teams by going to www.usadiving.org. Click on Join USA Diving and then Find A Club. Enter CA and a list of teams will come up. Look for UCLA Diving, Rose Bowl Aquatics and Trojan Dive Club (USC). There are many other clubs listed so you have other choices if these three suggestions do not work out.

I am sure you will find a program who will take him. Diving is huge in So.Cal. and very successful and popular in the summer. I suggest diving 2 days a week for an hour for someone his age.
