Where should I start?
Question
Hi, I'm in Edinburgh in Scotland and the diving pool here has just re-opened and sparked my love of diving, which I gave up 3 years ago, again. I'm 15 and have forgotten almost everything I was taught about diving! I was wondering if you would reccomend starting in a beginners class again or in a class with people closer to my age but able to do what I have forgotten? Would it be easier for me to simply start afresh or struggle a little (which I would be willing to put up with) to remember faster?
Hope this question makes sense, thanks.

I think it would be best to return to diving practicing with divers closer to your age for two reasons. One, I do not think it will help your return to diving practicing with very young kids who have no experience. Two, if you re-learn with divers your age who are a little better, you will be able to get back the dives you used to do faster than being with kids who have never done diving.
Ask the instructor if you can watch the class you want to join to get a better idea on what to expect.
Good luck.
