walking vs. biking


Question
My job is a 7 minute walk downhill from my house, which means
obviously uphill home.  Which would be better for weight loss
and general health, to walk to and from my house, or bicycle?  I
plan to do this for the next 4 months.  The uphill return is a long
grade about 1/4 mile probably 30*.

IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE BENEFICIAL TO WALK POWER WALK FAST AS U CAN LONG A STEP U CAN MAKE.  BIKING IS OK IN BETWEEN WALKING TO PREVENT HIP POINTER ETC.
UP HILLS ARE GREAT IF U PUSH YOURSELF ALOT TO LOOSE AND SWEAT, BUT DO A GOOD WARM UP AND COOL DOWN AS WELL SO NOT TO GET STRAINED AND SORE MUSCLES.
