Wayler and boards

G'day Patrick,
Got a question I hope you can answer.
I recently aquired a Wayler mast, sail, and a bunch of other things. Looks complete to me, but I have no idea.
Do you happen to know where I can find a manual that contains a parts list?
Also, will any board fit the mount for the Wayler mast?
And, Ihave no idea how to windsurf, what the different parts are, and even how to rig this sail up.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is not Wayler manual that I know of.  You should have a mast foot, mast and boom.  The mast fit is made specifically for the Wayler and will not fit any other board.  I had a Wayler about 25 years ago.  It was my first board. Best advice I can give you is to take all your gear and go to an area where there is windsurfing and ask a windsurfer if he can give you some advice.  It would be nearly impossible for me to tell you how to rig your board,  you need to have someone there to show you.  Wish I could be of more help but when you try to put together old equipment is can be a major challenge.  If funds allow you should try to purchase a rig that is less than 5 years old and you will be much happier.  The older the equipment the harder it is to learn on.
