tendon for old TenCate mast base
Question
Hello, I have an old TenCate board with two rigs, all in very good condition, except for the mast base, where the tendon broke (end tore off). This base is rather unique (see photo here: http://www.forster-solutions.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=7704 )
Any idea where I can find this tenon or a complete replacement base?
Thanks
Peter
Answer
Hey Peter,
I'm not sure that your tendon can be replaced. I have no idea where you would find just the rubber joint like yours or how to replace it into the old part.
You may try this part to see if it works. Maybe call them for measurements and how it attaches to see if it may replace your tendon.

If that won't work, check out new bases on the OceanAir site or check out this site to see new bases. I'm not sure how your base connects to your board but if it is the modern style, these bases will work to replace yours.

Hope this will help.
