windsurfing in LA

Hi there,

In may and june I will be in LA and I was wondering what the best place would be to do some windsurfing. I'm not a pro or anything,so I'm just looking for a nice spot to enjoy the wind!

If I understood correctely, winter is actually the best time for windsurfing in LA, so I hope you can give me a few tips for the off-season time of may and june.

Hey Johanna,

I've never sailed in the LA area but have read that there are plenty of locations to explore depending upon your abilities, location, and wind. Check out this link,

and scroll down to shops near the bottom. You will get a list of the various shops in the LA area. Check their websites or email them and you should be able to get some direct information on sailing locations in the area.
