selling old boards

Question
We have two old MIstral boards hanging in our garage. They've been hanging there untouched for about 15 years (!) and are probably 20 years old.  My husband has finally agreed to part with them.  (I get it. I finally gave up my 22 year old VW van a few years ago.  We have a way of hanging on to old stuff.)
But one of us thinks that there is no market for boards this old and the other is convinced there is. The one who says there is no market -- okay, that's me -- is willing to concede that there may be a market for some of the parts, or that there may be some sub-strata of boarders who love the old clunkers, but probably not in Minnesota, where we live.
I wound up having a guy pay for shipping my lifeless VW to CA so he could recycle its parts, so maybe there's a chop shop that would do that for the boards, but my gut tells me it's not worth the effort.
I noticed that you advised people not to buy boards over 5-6 years old. These are truly over 20 years old, maybe 25 years old!  Should we just put them out on the curb, or is there a chance someone might want them?  They are in very good shape, no parts are missing.  It's the owners whose parts are starting to go . . .

Answer
Someone might want them but the chances of finding that someone are pretty slim unless you want to spend some time and $.  Hate to see boards getting thrown out but they really are dinosaurs.  Try advertising in Ebay as there is new interest in stand up paddle boards and these may be useful for that purpose.
