I have alot of windsurfing gearand need to sell it.  Could you please price out the following:

1. Fanatic 295 slalom w/base - good cond
2 Alpha 160 F competion beginner w/base - good cond -
3. Wadell 4.7 slalom XT -brand new -
4. Bic 6.4 Fun Slalom - brand new -
5. 7.5 sale - used
6. 5.5 sale - used
7. adjustable boom -like new
8. mens medium wetsuit

Hey Rob,

It would be very hard for me to price your gear. Value of used gear varies greatly with location, age of gear, number of buyers, amount of gear available to said buyers, and the list goes on.

If your gear is over 5 years old, the value is greatly diminished due to most new sailors have learned on newer gear and want to buy newer gear. If your gear is in good condition, you may find get some interested buyers that are always looking for gear in good condition.

The main thing to understand is, sometimes sellers feel their gear is worth much more than what would be buyers are wanting to spend. I live near the Gorge and just about any type of used gear is available. Because there is so much available, most of it goes for a low price. In other areas the price/value of used gear may be much more.

My suggestion would be to check your local Craigslist and ebay and look for comparable gear to yours. This should help you get an idea of what the value of your gear would be in your area. Be sure to search windsurf, windsurfer, & windsurfing separately to get all the items to show up.
