I HAVE A 10 YEAR OLD O'BRIEN FREESAIL 140" LONG 25" WIDE THE SAIL
SAYS WINDSURFER FREE SAIL SPORT.I ALSO HAVE A BIC MARINE 12' 4" LONG 27" WIDE WITH A SAIL THAT SAYS WINDSERFER BERKELEY ON IT.BOTH OF THEM ARE MISSING THE PART THAT YOU PUSH DOWN THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE BOARD LIKE A FIN BUT IT'S NOT THE FIN THAT IS IN THE BACK.WHERE CAN I GET THESE PARTS AND WHAT PRICE RANGE WOULD THESE COMPLETE USED UNITS SELL FOR .I LIVE IN VACAVILLE CALIF. Parts are usually difficult to find since all windsurfers use different configurations. You can try calling The House at 1.800.409.7669. The part you are looking for is called a daggerboard.
Completed units for these types of boards have very little value since the design of windsurfers have progressed to the point that the newer boards are much easier to sail than those 10 years old. I would guess that the boards you have could fetch about $50 each in good complete condition. By the way, you should always use lower case when communicating on the web. Capital letters mean you are yelling.
