QUESTION: Hi Need to have instructions for this and I am missing parts and not sure what I need to complete this.. I have 2 sails the board rudder 2 pieces and plastic stays (see image) not sure what is available or how old it is? Thank You
ANSWER: Hey Pat,
Your board is from the mid to late 80's. Parts will be difficult to find, depending upon what you are missing. For me to determine what you need, I will need to see pics of everything else you have. Please get the part of the boom that connects to the mast so I can provide proper rigging help. I will also need to see the mast base. It connects the mast to the board. This the most important part, as the part that connects to the board is specific to that board. So, please send more pics and we will see what we can do to get you on the water.

ANSWER: Hey Pat,
Thanks for the extra pics. The long white part with the red knob is the daggerboard. Goes in the middle slot. Inserted correctly it should retract info the board. The red part is the fin and goes into the slot on the tail of the board. There should be a pin in the back of the fin. This will go into the wide opening of the fin box and then slide the fin to the back. There should be a screw with a square flat nut on the front tab of the fin. If there is no fin screw and nut, just google 'fin screw' to get one. Buy two, they're cheap. The nut will go into the wide part of the slot and then slide it forward. Push the fin down and push the nut under the tab to line up the screw. Fin forward for light winds, back for heavier winds. The narrow white parts are battens. They go into the slots in the sails and the straps hold them in. Battens stiffen and shape the sail. The aluminum tube looks to be a boom extension. You need two of them to make your boom longer for larger sails.
What I don't see is a mast or a mast base. The mast is what the sails go on. The mast base connects the mast/sail to the board. If you don't have the base, try to get me a clear, close up picture of the red part on the board that is just in front of the daggerboard slot. A good view of this will help me determine if an aftermarket base will work.

AnswerHey Pat,
I was hoping your mast base was different but unfortunately, it is a very specific type base and only a base made for that board will work. It will be very difficult to find the proper base. eBay is your best bet. Use windsurf, windsurfer, and windsurfing, each separately for best results. You could also try using your board make/model in search engines. Sorry I couldn't do more for you.
