snowboard repair

My daughter has a K2 snowboard and the p-tex bottom layer started to peel off. Is this repairable or is it time to upgrade

You could try to repair this issue with epoxy, but it would most likely fail.  If the board is still within the warantee period you can return it for a new board, but if this is not the case then you should upgrade.  A base that tears out can make for some nasty crashes!  See you're local snowboard shop and show them the issue.
