The size of Volkl skis

My daughter is 12 years old, 90 lbs, 5'7" - good, aggressive racer in K-1 racing team. She wants to ski on Volkl RaceTiger SL (Race Stock) and there is choice of 142cm and 150 cm. For SL she was on Salomon 3V, 140 cm for the last 2 years. Which size would you recommend?

My apologies for not answering sooner.  My mother broke her leg and I have been incommunicado while I was helping her.

Has your daughter gotten significantly taller or heavier since she was skiing on the Solomon 3Vs?  If not, I recommend the Volkl in the 142 length.  The Volkls will be stiffer and more energetic, than the Solomons.  She will maintain more forward energy with the Volkls, but the 142 length will allow her quickness in the gates similar to what she already has with her 3Vs.  As she gets taller, or significantly heavier, you can go up in length.
