Aerial Skiing

Is there anywhere in Australia where I can learn aerial skiing?

Arial Sking is a bit of a mystery ...
i know the AIS coach it [try Mt Buller]
but i know they hold comps - there could be a team
being coached at Thredbo or Perisher-Blue in NSW as well.

I know they are very interested in gymnasts as they have a background in knowing how to flip and have good "air awareness" ... however they have also been interested in trampolinists.  Need to know how to flip and land on your feet before they hurtle you off a ramp at 60km/hr.

Quite a few of the resorts offer training camps for half-pipes and terrain parks - perhaps you could start there with some basic skills.

Question: can you ski? This would be in your favour.

Goodluck, and enjoy the journey if you get to do it ... i have always been envious of those who do it - then i saw the ramp and was blown away with their courage to ski toward it ...
